Today we started our third unit in Reading, "Things That Go." We'll be learning about transportation and how people move about the earth. We will also learn about the way people used to travel "back in the day" and how they'll travel in the future.
Hi, I have my first graders do an oral presentation for the unit "Thing that Go." They have to build and create something that goes and then present it to the class. My kids have made some really cool things and had a lot of fun doing it.
Our classroom is comprised of twelve amazing second and first graders diagnosed with learning disabilities, including Autism. We are a beautiful and diverse community. Students have heritages in Africa, Europe, Latin America and Asia. In our classroom, we have established a learning climate to ensure all students achieve the California State Standards for the first and second grades.
